This community serves as a space where we can connect, inspire and share with others the purpose God has put in our hearts. One late night inspiration struck. A strong desire to build a Christian community was placed on Garrett’s heart, specifically one designed to support and uplift all types of creatives in the fine arts. He couldn’t shake the vision of what a Christian community could and should look like, and so he got to work.

CORE was born. Inception 0{{current_slide_index}} Starting out as an arts blogging site, CORE gained some traction with a small following, mostly focusing on music and culinary arts. Ultimately, Garrett knew this phase was just the beginning of what he envisioned for CORE. Humble Beginnings 0{{current_slide_index}} The next step included creating a Community Based Bible app, designed to allow virtual Bible studies and conferencing; a concept that hadn’t really been explored at the time.

But as time went on, and as hard as Garrett fought to bring CORE to life in this direction, unforeseen obstacles could not be ignored, leading CORE back to the drawing board.
Obstacles 0{{current_slide_index}} Behind the scenes and always working, Garrett’s motivation to bring the original vision of CORE to life never went away. Instead, it only deepened as he continued to see the need for Christian community in the world of the arts. Seeking the Lord for direction and guidance, and putting to use all he had learned, Garrett started from scratch again, finally creating the full envisioned plan for CORE, this time with a team by his side, ready to work.
